Help & Getting Started

Choose the Pairy path that fits where you are.

Try the offline Demo on iPhone, connect nearby over Local, or use Remote when your already-running Mac is reachable across networks.

Try Demo without a Mac

  1. Open Pairy on iPhone and choose Try the Offline Demo.
  2. Explore the original sample, gestures, text input, rotation, screenshots, and notes.
  3. Exit or reset the Demo at any time.

Demo is always available. It requires no account, Mac, purchase, Cloudflare, LiveKit, or network connection.

Connect with Local

  1. Install and open the signed, notarized Pairy Mac companion.
  2. Open Xcode and boot the Simulator you want to use.
  3. Keep the Mac and iPhone reachable on the same local network.
  4. In Pairy on iPhone, choose your Mac and scan its one-time pairing code.

Live Local and direct use requires an active weekly, annual, or eligible annual-trial subscription. Local and authenticated direct sessions do not use Remote allowance.

Use Remote across networks

  1. Pair locally first, then enable Remote Access in Pairy on the Mac.
  2. Leave Pairy running in the signed-in Mac user session with power and internet access.
  3. Select the paired Mac from the iPhone when away from the local network.

Remote does not power on a Mac, wake it from system sleep, sign in, or bypass the lock screen. The display may sleep and the console may remain locked while Pairy is already running and its availability conditions are met.

The weekly plan includes 2.5 Remote hours per verified subscription week. The annual plan includes 10 Remote hours per monthly allowance window. A Remote session lasts at most two hours and warns at 15 and 5 minutes remaining. See Pricing for the complete product truth.

Subscriptions and restoration

Apple shows the final localized price, renewal terms, and annual-trial eligibility before purchase. Pairy uses RevenueCat for subscription lifecycle and the pairy_live entitlement. To restore, open Pairy on iPhone → Settings → Restore Purchases. Manage renewal in Apple Account subscription settings.

Privacy and support

Local screenshots and notes are saved on your Mac only when you ask Pairy to create them. Remote media is not recorded or retained by Pairy. Update checks use Pairy's signed HTTPS feed without deliberate analytics or a stable device identifier; the hosting service necessarily receives ordinary HTTPS request metadata such as IP address, time, and user agent.
