1. Who these terms are with
Pairy is an independent product operated by Nuno Schumacher in the Netherlands. Questions about these terms can be sent to [email protected].
2. Current availability
Pairy is currently in private development and is presented as “Coming soon.” The website's interactive Simulator is an offline product demonstration, not a hosted account or production remote-control service. Availability, supported platforms, pricing, trials, quotas, and purchase terms will be published before public release.
3. Permission to use Pairy
Subject to these terms and any applicable App Store terms, Pairy grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the website and any app build legitimately provided to you. You may use Pairy only with Macs, Simulators, apps, accounts, and networks that you own or are authorized to access.
4. Your responsibilities
You agree not to:
- access or control another person's device, Simulator, data, or account without permission;
- share pairing credentials, access tokens, private keys, or live pairing QR codes;
- probe, attack, overload, bypass, or interfere with Pairy's security, quotas, or infrastructure;
- use Pairy for unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or rights-infringing activity;
- resell or provide Pairy as a service without written permission; or
- reverse engineer Pairy except where applicable law expressly allows it.
5. Your content and systems
You keep ownership of your apps, screen content, screenshots, notes, and other materials. Pairy receives no ownership interest in them. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions necessary to display, transmit, capture, or store that material and for keeping your development environment and devices appropriately secured.
6. Third-party services
Pairy relies on platform and infrastructure services including Apple, Cloudflare, and LiveKit. Their services may have separate terms and may be unavailable independently of Pairy. Pairy will identify any production purchase provider and the applicable purchase terms before accepting payment.
7. Changes, suspension, and termination
Pairy may change or discontinue pre-release features, restrict abusive or insecure activity, revoke compromised credentials, or suspend access needed to protect users and infrastructure. You may stop using Pairy at any time and can follow the deletion guide to remove local and remote data.
8. No guarantee of uninterrupted service
Pre-release software and remote connectivity can fail, change, or become temporarily unavailable. Pairy is provided on an “as available” basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. Do not rely on Pairy as the only way to access critical systems, recover data, or preserve evidence. Local use may remain available during some remote-service outages, but this is not guaranteed.
9. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Pairy is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or loss-of-profit damages arising from use of a pre-release build or an unavailable remote connection. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limits mandatory consumer rights.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by Dutch law, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections provided by the law of their country of residence. Courts with jurisdiction under applicable law may hear disputes. Please contact [email protected] first so there is an opportunity to resolve the issue informally.
11. Changes to these terms
Updated terms will be posted here with a new effective date. Material terms for paid access—including price, billing period, renewal, cancellation, trial, and remote allowance—will be shown before purchase and reflected here before the public app launches.
