1. Who these terms are with
Pairy is an independent product operated by Nuno de Assis Miranda Schumacher in the Netherlands (KVK 99971186; VAT ID NL005422031B69).
Public service and correspondence address: Verdunplein 17, Box G1459, 5627SZ Eindhoven, Netherlands. The visiting address is shielded in the Dutch Business Register. Telephone: +31 6 29833499. Questions about these terms can be sent to [email protected].
2. Current availability
Pairy is currently in private development and is presented as “Coming soon.” The website's interactive Simulator is an original offline product demonstration, not a hosted account or production remote-control service. The weekly and annual product terms are published on the Pricing page; Apple will show the final localized price, eligibility, renewal, and purchase terms before payment. An active subscription is required for every live Local, direct, or Remote path. The offline Demo remains available without a subscription.
3. Subscriptions and live access
- The weekly plan includes 2.5 Remote hours per verified subscription week and no trial.
- The annual plan includes 10 Remote hours per monthly allowance window. Apple determines eligibility for its seven-day introductory trial; an eligible trial opens the full first monthly allowance window.
- A Remote session lasts at most two hours. Pairy warns at 15 and 5 minutes remaining.
- There are no Remote top-ups, carry-over, or stacked allowance windows.
- Local and direct sessions consume no Remote allowance and remain available while the entitlement is active if Remote is exhausted or the managed Remote service is unavailable.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled in Apple Account settings. Canceling stops renewal; access continues through the subscription end that Pairy can verify. Apple controls refund decisions. A verified refund, revocation, or entitlement expiry ends live access and may terminate an active Remote session.
4. Requirements and permission to use Pairy
Remote requires your own Xcode Simulator and a signed-in, powered, online Mac running Pairy. Pairy does not power on or wake a Mac from system sleep, sign in to macOS, or bypass a lock screen. Local use requires the Mac and iPhone to be reachable on the same network.
Subject to these terms and any applicable App Store terms, Pairy grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the website and any app build legitimately provided to you. You may use Pairy only with Macs, Simulators, apps, accounts, and networks that you own or are authorized to access.
5. Your responsibilities
You agree not to:
- access or control another person's device, Simulator, data, or account without permission;
- share pairing credentials, access tokens, private keys, or live pairing QR codes;
- probe, attack, overload, bypass, or interfere with Pairy's security, quotas, or infrastructure;
- use Pairy for unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or rights-infringing activity;
- resell or provide Pairy as a service without written permission; or
- reverse engineer Pairy except where applicable law expressly allows it.
6. Your content and systems
You keep ownership of your apps, screen content, screenshots, notes, and other materials. Pairy receives no ownership interest in them. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions necessary to display, transmit, capture, or store that material and for keeping your development environment and devices appropriately secured.
7. Third-party services
Pairy relies on platform and infrastructure services including Apple, RevenueCat, Cloudflare, and LiveKit. Apple processes App Store payments; RevenueCat processes product, purchase, restore, and entitlement state. Their services may have separate terms and may be unavailable independently of Pairy. The localized App Store purchase sheet controls the price, eligibility, billing period, and renewal terms accepted at purchase.
8. Changes, suspension, and termination
Pairy may change or discontinue pre-release features, restrict abusive or insecure activity, revoke compromised credentials, or suspend access needed to protect users and infrastructure. You may stop using Pairy at any time and can follow the deletion guide to remove local and remote data.
9. No guarantee of uninterrupted service
Pre-release software and remote connectivity can fail, change, or become temporarily unavailable. Pairy is provided on an “as available” basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. Do not rely on Pairy as the only way to access critical systems, recover data, or preserve evidence. While an entitlement remains active, the product is designed so same-network Local and authenticated direct sessions do not depend on managed Remote allowance or Remote-service availability; device, network, operating-system, Xcode, or app failures can still prevent them.
10. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Pairy is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or loss-of-profit damages arising from use of a pre-release build or an unavailable remote connection. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limits mandatory consumer rights.
11. Applicable law and contact
Mandatory consumer and other applicable laws continue to apply. This pre-publication draft does not add a separate contractual choice of law or venue. Please contact [email protected] first so there is an opportunity to resolve an issue informally.
12. Changes to these terms
Updated terms will be posted here with a new effective date. Material terms for paid access, including price, billing period, renewal, cancellation, trial, and remote allowance, will be shown before purchase and reflected here before the public app launches.
