Support

Help from the person building Pairy.

Pairy is still in private development. If you are testing it, send enough context to reproduce the problem, but never send a secret.

Pairy is founder-operated and aims to respond within three business days. Reports affecting access, privacy, or security are prioritized.

Operational evidence: Direct Fastmail hosting was verified on 30 July 2026. On 31 July the founder confirmed that all five published role addresses passed founder-attested external receive and matching-From reply checks, and that he will monitor them during App Review from his phone. Ordinary support emails and attachments are manually deleted within 90 days after case closure.

What to include

  • Pairy iPhone and Mac app versions;
  • iOS, macOS, Xcode, and Simulator runtime versions;
  • whether the problem occurs nearby, remotely, or both;
  • the steps that caused the problem and what you expected;
  • if subscription or Remote-service lookup is needed, the value from Pairy on iPhone → Settings → About Pairy → Copy Support ID. It is a non-secret random Pairy identifier; share it only with Pairy support. A request is still valid if it is unavailable; and
  • a redacted diagnostic or screenshot only if it is safe to share.

Never send: pairing QR codes, bearer credentials, LiveKit tokens, Apple private keys, passwords, or unredacted customer/source-code content. Pairy support will not ask for them.

For a data-deletion request, follow the deletion guide. Pairy's private verified-request workflow is operational. The Support ID is only a lookup value, not proof of ownership, and deleting Pairy service records does not cancel an Apple subscription.

Quick recovery steps

  1. Confirm the Mac companion and iPhone app are both running current test builds.
  2. For nearby use, confirm both devices can reach the same local network.
  3. For remote use, confirm Remote is enabled on the Mac and reconnect from the phone.
  4. Revoke and pair the phone again only if ordinary reconnect fails.
  5. Use Reset Pairy Identity only as a last resort because it removes existing trust.

Availability and compatibility

Final minimum versions, supported hardware, download links, and service status information will be published before public release. The website demo works offline and does not test whether your devices are compatible with the production apps.

Restore Purchases

Purchases will be managed on iPhone through Apple. When Pairy launches, open Pairy on your iPhone, go to Settings, and choose Restore Purchases to refresh your subscription access.

If access is still missing after Apple confirms the purchase, contact [email protected] from the email address you want us to reply to. Never send your Apple ID password or payment details.

Canceling in Apple Account settings stops renewal; verified access continues through the current subscription period. Apple determines refund eligibility and processes refunds. If Remote allowance is exhausted or the managed service is unavailable, same-network Local and authenticated direct sessions remain available while the entitlement is active.
